I specialise in learning quickly about new technologies and explaining them to other people.

Electronics and Radio Communication
I can handle the subjects of electronics and radio communication to a very high technical level. A good example of writing for graduate engineers was the work for Agilent Technologies (formerly Hewlett-Packard Instruments).
For less advanced readers, it is even more important to explain technical subjects clearly. I keep these skills sharp by writing regularly for UK electronics and radio journals, including the monthly magazine column 'In Practice'.
I also conceived, edited and managed the writing of The VHF/UHF DX
Book, an advanced technical handbook for radio amateurs. Among the many enthusiastic
reviews from around the world was:
